Clay Parties are handbuilding classes for adults only, devoted to the creation of a specific item or group of items. They are given upon request, with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 participants. Price of the Clay Parties includes clay, glazes and firing fees. Experience with clay is not necessary.

It is recommended, tho not necessary, that the Soap Dishes and Small Platters class be your first clay party since techniques learned in it are used in the other classes.

Clay Parties are given on two consecutive Saturday mornings. On the first Saturday, items are created then during the following week they dry and are bisque fired. On the second Saturday, items are glazed and the following week they are glaze fired. Items are picked up on the third Saturday, making one workshop a three week process.

Participants need to bring an old towel, wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty and prepare to have fun!
